First Displayed at the CES event in Las Vegas this Jan & launched worldwide on 9th Feb, The Xperia Z  is a touchscreen enabled,full HD Android flagship smartphone designed, developed, and marketed by Sony Mobile. It was only last year when the Xperia S was launched.The Xperia Z is said to be the ultimate Smart Phone from the Xperia family.

With a 5-inch 1080px HD display, water and dust resistant build, and a 13.1-megapixel camera with Exmor RS sensor,it’s only second to the HTC Butterfly, to feature a full-HD display.

However,the Xperia Z seems to have a down side.Just a 2 months into its launch,there have been reports of major issues like the handset dying suddenly and then not being able to work after shutting down.It was originally believed that the problem manifested itself when the battery life was dangerously low on the handset but it has since come to light that devices with a fully charged battery have also experienced the problem.Sony have acknowledged the issue and are currently hard at work finding a solution to the problem. When a cure has been developed it will arrive to Sony Xperia Z users in the form of a software update for the phone.If Sony manages to solve the issue quickly,Xperia Z issue should not be a big problem for Sony’s marketing strategy involving star-studded TV Commercials.
