The high-mounted tail-lights are evolved from the current car. The most interesting detail, however, is the rear three-quarter window, which tapers to a point. The swooping roof line and stylised D-pillar have been carried forward as well.

The new CR-V comes with the same 2.0- and 2.4-litre petrol motors as before. However, they have been revved up so the  2.0 gets 154bhp and the updated 2.4 gets 187bhp.One significant change is the reduced fuel Consumption by almost 10%.The New CR-V can touch Speeds as high as 150kph easily and  on flooring the Pedal, the CR-V feels reasonably quick, even on an open road.In terms of mileage shared by ARAI, the 2.0 litre returns about 13.7 kilometers to the litre and the 2.4 litre unit offers 12 kilometers to the litre. The Ride quality has improved.Body movements are well controlled, the suspension is silent and this adds to the feeling of calm inside the already silent cabin.
